About LinkFork

LinkFork was a small, free tool for customizing social link previews. You pasted in a URL, LinkFork gave you back a short link, and you controlled how that link looked when it was shared on social media — the Open Graph image, title, and description that platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter show in the preview card.

The idea was simple: the way a link previews has a real effect on whether people click it, so being able to try different images and headlines — and see which version performed best — was genuinely useful. LinkFork also reported basic click stats for each customized link.

It was built in 2020 on Laravel and Tailwind CSS as an independent micro-SaaS. This page preserves that history.
